- How do I join My IT Video ?
To become a member of My IT Video, go to the "Signup" page,
choose a username and password and enter your information.
Then click the "Sign Up" button and that's all.

 

How do I confirm my email address?
Confirming your email address is required to perform many actions on My IT Video, like uploading videos and posting comments.
Please follow the steps below to confirm your email:

  1. Once you've created your username in our "Sign Up" page, we'll send a confirmation email to the address you entered.
  2. Click the "Confirm your email address" link within that email. You can also copy and paste the link provided into your browser if you prefer.
  3. You'll be directed to a confirmation page and you can immediately begin exploring the site!


If you don't receive the confirmation email within a few minutes, be sure to check your spam folder to make sure it wasn't misfiled.

 

I have forgotten my username or password. What should I do now?
If you have forgotten your password and/or username, you can retrieve it here.

 

I never received my confirmation email. What should I do?
If you have just joined My IT Video  and you don't receive confirmation email when you expect to, check in your email client's spam folder �some are more aggressive than others about identifying spam.

If you still haven't received it after several hours, login into your account and click Upload" button from top menu. If you'll see your email in text box, click "SEND EMAIL" button. This will send another confirmation email to your address.

 

 

Uploading Videos to My IT Video

- How do I upload a video?
Made sure that your video is smaller than 50 MB and in an acceptable format .
Then follow the steps below:

  1. Click "Upload" from the top menu of My IT Video pages.
  2. Enter information about your video, including Title, Description, Tags and channels.
  3. Determine if you want your video set to Public or Private.
  4. Click the "Browse" button to browse for the video file. Select the file you want to upload.
  5. Click the "Upload" button.

It can take from a couple of minutes to an hour for your video to upload to My IT Video.

 

What video file formats can I upload?
My IT Video accepts a wide range of video file formats such as .WMV, .AVI, .MOV, .FLV, .MP4 and .MPG transferred from most digital cameras, camcorders and mobile phones.

 

How long does it take to process a video after it's been uploaded?
Processing time varies greatly depending on the format of your original video, file size and upload traffic. This could take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours.

Make sure your video is smaller than 50 MB. We accept most video file formats, including .wmv, .mov, .mpg or .avi.
We recommend the MPEG4 format at 640x480 resolution with MP3 audio.

What can I change to my video after it's been uploaded and approved?
You cannot change uploaded video to any other video, however you can disable it from showing on My IT Video website and edit or add more information about your video.

Login into your account and click on "My videos" link below top menu buttons .Browse your videos and click on "Remove" button to disable video or click on "Edit video" link to edit it.

 

Groups at My IT Video

 

- How do I join a group ?
login to your My IT Video account  .
Then follow the steps below:

  1. Click "Groups" from the top menu of My IT Video pages.
  2. click browse Group link below top menu button.
  3. Click the "join group" button.

And your group will be ready immediately.

 

- How do I create a group ?
login to your My IT Video account  .
Then follow the steps below:

  1. Click "Groups" from the top menu of My IT Video pages.
  2. click create Group link below top menu button .
  3. Enter information about your group, including Name, Tags Description, URL and channels.
  4. Determine if you want your video set to Public, Protected or Private.
  5. Select your choice for video uploads, forum postings and group icon.
  6. Click the "Submit" button.

And your group will be ready immediately.
 

- How do I add videos ,add topic or post message to the group ?
Login into your account and go to your group homepage, then :
- to add videos : click on the add videos link below top menu button.
- to add topic : full add new topic box at the medial of the group home page after that click the
 add topic button  .
- to post message : click on the topic that you want to post your message there, then full message box and click on the add topic .


 

What can I change to my group after it's been added?
You cannot delete your group by yourself, if you want to delete your group you have to contact us
at this Email help@myitvideo.com  .

but you can edit your group information and delete the videos from your group.
Login into your account and go to your group homepage, then:
- to edit your group info.: Click on the edit group in the down of your group picture.
- to delete the video : click on the videos link below top menu button.  Browse your videos and click on "Remove" button to delete video from your group.
